Construction of refractory insulation products for glass furnace 1

At present, the construction methods of refractory insulation products used for the crown of the melting part and regenerator can be divided into cold insulation and hot insulation. Refractory insulation products used in glass furnaces are mainly lightweight thermal insulation bricks and thermal insulation coatings. The installation of thermal insulation layer can effectively reduce heat dissipation and improve the thermal efficiency of the furnace.

Refractory insulation products are characterized by reducing heat dissipation, improving the thermal efficiency of the furnace, and ensuring the service life of the furnace. After installation of fire-resistant and thermal insulation products, the temperature of the external surface of the brick of furnace body will be greatly increased, which requires that the quality of the furnace body brick must be excellent, and high-quality refractory mortar should be used. Specific implementation process of this insulation method is as below:
1. Cold construction
(1) Melter arch and regenerator crown
After the construction of the arch is completed, the joints shall be grouted with high-quality silica mud slurry and then the braces shall be tightened. Withdraw the arch tire. After 24-48h cold observation and confirmation of stability, the crown of the arch shall be cleaned, and the stone shall be paved with high-quality silica mud with a thickness of 10-20mm. At the same time, a layer of lightweight thermal insulation bricks shall be paved on the upper part, but thermal insulation bricks shall not be paved at about 1.5-2m wide in the middle of the arch and at the expansion joints of each arch.
(2) Melter breast wall
Build light thermal insulation bricks in cold state.
