Construction method of fireproof calcium silicate board for industrial kiln

Thermal insulation non-asbestos xonotlite-type high-quality thermal insulation material is referred to as fireproof calcium silicate board or microporous calcium silicate board. It is a white and hard new thermal insulation material. It has characteristics of light weight, high strength, low thermal conductivity, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, easy for cutting, sawing etc. It is widely used in the heat preservation in various thermal equipment.

The fireproof calcium silicate board is mainly used in cement kilns. The following will focus on what matters should be paid attention to in the construction of cement kilns with insulation calcium silicate boards..
Preparation before construction:
1. Before masonry, the surface of the equipment should be cleaned to remove rust and dust. If necessary, the rust and dust can be removed with a wire brush to ensure the bonding quality.
2. The fireproof calcium silicate board is easy to be damp, and its performance does not change after being damp, but it affects the masonry and subsequent processes, such as the extension of the drying time, and affects the setting and strength of the refractory mortar.
3. When distributing materials at the construction site, in principle, the amount of refractory materials that needs to be kept away from moisture should not exceed the amount of daily requirement. Moisture-proof measures should be taken at the construction site.
4. The storage of materials should be according to different grades and specifications. The materials should not be stacked too high or stacked with other refractory materials to prevent damage due to heavy pressure.
5. The bonding agent used for the masonry of the fireproof calcium silicate board is made of solid and liquid materials. The mixing ratio of the solid and liquid materials must be appropriate to achieve appropriate viscosity, which can be applied well without flowing.
Next issue we will continue to introduce fireproof calcium silicate board. Please stay tuned.
