Advantage of ceramic fiber insulation in glass annealing equipment

     Ceramic fiber insulation is a kind of popularized thermal insulation material, which has good thermal insulation effect and good comprehensive performance. Ceramic fiber insulation products are used in flat glass vertical guide chambers and tunnel annealing kilns.

     In the actual production of the annealing kiln, the temperature of the airflow when entering the upper machine is as high as 600°C or even higher. When the furnace is burnt before being reheated, the temperature of the bottom space of the upper machine is sometimes as high as 1000 degrees. Asbestos loses crystal water at 700℃, and become brittle and fragile. In order to prevent the asbestos board from being burnt and deteriorated and causing brittleness and then loosening and peeling off, many bolts are used to press and hang the asbestos board insulation layer.

The heat dissipation of the tunnel kiln is considerable, which not only increases the energy consumption, but also affects the operating conditions. Both the kiln body and the hot air flow channel shall be made of heat preservation and refractory materials for heat insulation. If ceramic fiber insulation products are applied to tunnel annealing kilns for various glasses, the advantages will be more significant.
