Classification of lightweight insulation fire brick for glass kilns 2

This issue we will continue to introduce classification of lightweight insulation fire brick for glass kilns.

3.Clay lightweight insulation fire brick. It is a insulation refractory product made from refractory clay with Al2O3 content of 30%~48%. Its production process adopts burn out addition method and foam method. Clay lightweight insulation fire bricks have a wide range of applications, mainly used as insulation refractory materials of insulation layers in various industrial kilns where do not come into contact with molten materials. Its working temperature is 1200~1400 ℃.
4. Aluminum oxide insulation bricks. The product has high fire resistance and good thermal shock resistance, and is commonly used as a high-temperature insulation layer for kilns. Its working temperature is 1350-1500 ℃, and the working temperature of high-purity products can reach 1650-1800 ℃. It is refractory insulation products made from raw materials of fused corundum, sintered alumina, and industrial alumina.
5. Lightweight mullite bricks. Thermal insulation and refractory products made from mullite as the main raw material. Mullite insulation bricks have high temperature resistance, high strength, low thermal conductivity, and can directly come into contact with flames, and they are suitable for lining of various industrial kilns.
6. Aluminum oxide hollow ball bricks. Aluminum oxide hollow ball bricks are mainly used for long-term use below 1800 ℃. It has good chemical stability and corrosion resistance at high temperatures. Compared with other lightweight insulation bricks, alumina hollow ball bricks have higher working temperature, higher strength, and lower thermal conductivity. Its density is also 50%~60% lower than that of dense refractory products of the same composition, and can withstand the impact of high-temperature flames.
