The choosing of furnace top material. In an industrial furnace, the temperature in the furnace top is about 5% higher than the furnace wall. That is to say, when the measured temperature of the furnace wall is 1000°C, the furnace top is higher than 1050°C. Therefore, when selecting materials for furnace top, the safety factor should be considered more. For tube furnaces with temperature higher than 1150°C, the working surface of the furnace top should be 50-80mm thick zirconium ceramic fiber wool layer, followed by high-alumina ceramic fiber wool with a thickness of 80-100mm, and the remaining available thickness of 80-100mm ordinary aluminum ceramic fiber. This composite lining adapts to the gradient drop in the temperature transfer process, reduces the cost and improves the service life of the furnace lining.
