Ceramic fiber wool has characteristics of high temperature resistance, good chemical stability and low thermal conductivity, which can shorten the furnace heating time, reduce furnace external wall temperature and furnace energy consumption.

Ceramic fiber wool’s impact on furnace energy saving
The heat emitted by the heating element of the resistance furnace can be divided into two parts, the first part is used to heat or smelt the metal, and the second part is the heat storage of the furnace lining material, the heat dissipation of the furnace wall and the heat loss caused by opening the furnace door.
In order to make full use of energy, it is necessary to reduce the above-mentioned second part of the heat loss to a minimum and improve the effective utilization rate of the heating element. The selection of furnace lining materials have a significant impact on heat storage loss and total heat loss.
