Application of aluminum silicate refractory fiber in Heat Treatment Resistance Furnace

Aluminum silicate refractory fiber is also called ceramic fiber. Its main chemical components are SiO2 and Al2O3. It has characteristics of Light weight, soft, small heat capacity, low thermal conductivity, good thermal insulation performance. Heat treatment furnace built with this material as insulation material has characteristics of fast heating and low heat consumption. The heat consumption at 1000°C is only 1/3 of that of light clay bricks and 1/20 of that of common refractory bricks.

Modification of resistance heating furnace
Generally, we use aluminum silicate refractory fiber felt to cover the furnace lining or use aluminum silicate refractory fiber molded products to build the furnace lining. First we take out the electric heating wire, and cover the furnace wall with a layer of 10~15mm thick aluminum silicate refractory fiber felt by gluing or wrapping, and use heat-resistant steel bars, brackets and T-shaped clips to fix the felt. Then set the electric heating wire. Taking into account the fiber shrinkage at high temperature, the overlap of the aluminum silicate refractory fiber felt should be thickened.
The characteristics of furnace modification of using aluminum silicate refractory fiber felt are that there is no need to change the structure of the furnace body and the furnace power, the materials used are less, the cost is low, the furnace modification is easy, and the energy-saving effect is significant.
The application of aluminum silicate refractory fiber in the heat treatment electric furnace is still a beginning. We believe that its application will be expanded day by day, and it will play its due role in the field of energy saving.
