Application and installation process of refractory calcium silicate board

Application and installation process of refractory calcium silicate board

Refractory calcium silicate board is a new type of thermal insulation material made of diatomaceous earth, lime and reinforced inorganic fibers. Under high temperature and high pressure, hydrothermal reaction occurs, and calcium silicate board is made.Refractory calcium silicate board has the advantages of light weight, good thermal insulation performance, and convenient for installation. It is especially suitable for heat insulation and heat preservation of high temperature equipment of building materials and metallurgy.

1 Requirement
(1) Refractory calcium silicate board is easy to be damp, so it should be stored in a ventilated and dry warehouse or workshop. The calcium silicate board transported to the construction site must be used up on the same day, and a rain-proof cloth should be provided on site.
(2) The construction surface should be cleaned up to remove rust and dust.
(3) The cutting and processing of refractory calcium silicate board should use wood saws or iron saws, and no tiles, single-edged hammers and other tools should be used.
(4) If the insulation and heat preservation layer is thick and the overlap of multi-layer boards is required, the board seams must be staggered to prevent through seams.
(5) The refractory calcium silicate board should be built with high temperature adhesive. Before installation, the refractory calcium silicate board should be accurately processed, and then the adhesive should be evenly coated on the paving surface of the board with a brush. The binding agent is extruded and smoothed, leaving no seam.
(6) Curved surfaces such as upright cylinders should be constructed from top to bottom based on the lower end of the curved surface.
Next issue we will continue to introduce installation of refractory calcium silicate board. Please stay tuned!
